What are the benefits of membership and how much does it cost?

Where is the members library?

To see our members-only library, you need to log into your account using your username and password. Once in our system, you'll see the library in the table of contents on the left.


How do I obtain insurance?

When you join ICLMA we have a listing of insurance companies who understand the concierge industry and have written policies for concierge. The listing is located in our members library and available to you when you join the association. 


In the meantime, here are some helpful hints...


The key to finding the right type of insurance is knowing the NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code. The code for concierge services is 812990. If you do other services, like transportation or pet sitting, those will have their own codes. Here's a link to the NAICS site so that you can see the code and the types of businesses within that code: http://www.naics.com/censusfiles/ND812990.HTM.

No matter where you are located in the world, we suggest you call as many local independent insurance brokers as you can. Get a few of them working on your behalf and one of them will be able to help.  You tell him/her that they should put you into the “consulting” category or the “janitorial/cleaning house” category.  Each employee should be bonded as well (called an Employee Dishonesty Bond).  A reasonable cost would be between $500 and $800 per year, although we have seen higher.

How do I renew my membership when the system can’t find me?

If you were a previous member and the system does not allow you to renew, then you have been archived and you need to notify Mindy Oliver at admin@ICLMA.org to assist you in restoring your profile information from the archives.


Can I use your logo on my website?

Absolutely!  The logo is located in the Member’s Library. It is the second tab down in the library.


How can I update my information and company logo?

Just log into your ICLMA account using your email address and password and you can make any change you like to your listing. You do not need to call headquarters.
