Deborah Colangelo
Travel Guard

Deborah Colangelo has 20+ years of experience in the hospitality, customer service and concierge industries.  She joined Travel Guard in February 2009 to build the company’s “Elite Concierge Team” within its Personal Assistance Center.

Before Travel Guard, she was Director of Reservations Sales and Service for startup Jewel River Cruises, slated to be the first “boutique-luxury” river cruise line. She also held Senior Leadership positions at Costa Cruise lines and Grand Expeditions, a group of luxury and special-interest brands including Travcoa, International Expeditions, Country Walkers, TCS Expeditions, the Moorings and Intrav.

Colangelo began her career at Certified Vacations, one of the country’s top three travel wholesalers.  During her 17-year stint there, she held several senior management positions and served as a member of the Executive Team.  As Senior Director, Reservations and Operations, she managed a staff of 200 in the call center, and was responsible for Sales, Service and E-business Support agents. Additionally, she was in charge of the Training and Quality Assurance departments.

Deborah resides in sunny South Florida and apologizes in advance for her poor golf game: a friend can be quoted as saying “I have never seen someone play so badly, but enjoy it so much!”

Jarvis serves as a founding member of the CMO Club and participates in numerous professional associations.  He is a frequently featured speaker at executive conferences and is a contributing author to the 2005 book:  The Chief Marketing Officer.  Jarvis writes for several well-known blogs, including MENG Blend.
